Er war Mitglied des Zweiten Weltkriegs als Teil der britischen Armee. Teilgenommen an der Landung in <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/uzhgorodska-mini-skulptura-napoleon\/\">Normandie<\/a>. Er beendete den Krieg als Kapit\u00e4n, wurde mit dem Abzeichen des Heldentums ausgezeichnet, und nach dem Krieg erhielt er den posten des Leiters des Presseb\u00fcros des britischen Au\u00dfenministeriums. Dann kaufte Maxwell seine erste Firma, den Verlag \u00abpergamon Press&#8221;, und mit der Zeit expandierte sein Gesch\u00e4ft erheblich und entwickelte sich zu einem echten Medienimperium.<\/p>\n\n<p>Im Jahr 1978 auf Einladung von Leonid Breschnew Maxwell&#13;\nich besuchte Moskau. Er schenkte dem Generalsekret\u00e4r die von ihm ausgestellte auf Englisch&#13;\ndie Sprache der Trilogie &#8220;Kleine Erde\u00bb, \u00abWiedergeburt\u00bb, &#8220;Celina&#8221;. Er durfte&#13;\nder R\u00fcckweg in die Heimat Solotvino. Es war sein letzter Besuch auf&#13;\nHeimat.<\/p>\n\n<p>Robert Maxwell starb w\u00e4hrend einer Reise auf seiner Yacht in der N\u00e4he der Kanarischen Inseln.
