He is also called Yanko Derevlyany, because he makes sculptures out of wood. Ironically, it became the prototype for a new mini-sculpture.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ivan Shchur is the owner of the tourist shelter &#8220;V Yanka Derevyalnogo&#8221; on the mountain yavornik at an altitude of 1017 meters, which is located nearby <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/podorozh-do-velikogo-bereznogo\/\">PGT. Great Birch<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ivan Shchur linked his fate with the mountain Yavirnyk in the 1970s.&#13;\nThen he was invited to work as an artist-designer at the camp site. This campsite&#13;\nit was founded in 1936. At the time when Transcarpathia was part of&#13;\nCzechoslovakia, our region has experienced a real boom in Hiking. Tourists who pass by it or get lost in the forests of the region Can always count on a warm welcome from yank Derevlyany. Ivan Shchur repeatedly had to search for lost tourists and bring them out of the forest, as a professional lifeguard.<\/p>\n\n<p>A mini-sculpture of yank Derevlyanom was installed on June 10, 2018 on the territory of the tourist shelter &#8220;yavornik&#8221;, which is located above the village of Russian Mochar <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/velikobereznjanskij-rajon\/\">Of the velikobereznyansky district<\/a>. At the same time, a miniature &#8220;Monument to the Transcarpathian tourist&#8221;was installed nearby.
