It was dedicated to the heroine of a desperate three-year defense <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/legends-and-glory-mukachevo-castle\/\">Mukachevsky castle<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/ilona-zrini\/\">Ilona Zrini <\/a>and her second husband <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/imre-tekeli\/\">Imre Tekeli<\/a>. The author of this mini-sculpture, as well as the vast majority of mini-monuments of Transcarpathia, was Mikhail Kolodko<\/p>\n\n<p>Mini sculptures of lovers installed in the courtyard of mukachevsky&#13;\nPalanok castle at the Central gate. Instead of a prosperous life under power<a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/dinastija-gabsburgiv\/\">Habsburg&#8217;s<\/a> proud Ilona Zrini chose a thorny path of struggle for the freedom of her people. For these exciting events in those days was watched by all the nobility and monarchical elite of Europe.
