Schweik is a world-famous character whose Creator \nis a Czech writer Jaroslav Hasek. His work ” adventures of the brave \nvoyaka shveyka” and still remains one of the most popular anti-war \nnovels written after the First world war. This is the story of a simple soldier Schweik, in \nin which the protest against violence and war sounds in major notes.<\/p>\n\n

The sculpture was installed on July 10, 2012 in honor of the anniversary \nUkrainian-Czech friendship, as well as a monument to the post-war city (not by accident \nit was mounted on historical pieces of railing, which even left traces of \nbullets from the Second world war).<\/p>\n\n

Official opening of the mini-sculpture of Schweik in the city Uzhgorod<\/a> it was done by Yaroslav Hasek’s grandson, Richard.<\/p>\n\n

The author of this little masterpiece is Mikhail Kolodko. The owner of the tavern-Museum financed the creation of a mini-sculpture of Schweik “DECA at the librarian”<\/a> DECA at the librarian<\/p>\n
