Beregovsky district<\/a> it boasts not only architectural monuments, but also the sea. Geologists have proved that almost under the entire territory of the Beregovsky district at a depth of 800 meters there is a thermal sea that breaks through to the earth’s surface by sources with water temperatures from + 18 to + 80 \u00b0 C. With 1000 scouts in the area sources’<\/a> almost all are siliceous thermals. The main reserves of thermal waters of the Transcarpathian region are concentrated in the Beregovshchina. Currently there are 52 drilling wells and 4 large sources have been developed: Berehovo (the health resort “the Carpathians”), Kalinske (sanatorium “Kosino”), Ivanovo (in force pool) and Borrasca<\/a> (recreation center “Borzhava”).<\/p>\n\n

In the oak forests of Beregovschina once loved to hunt Hungarian kings<\/a> the Arpad dynasty, especially the son Saint Istvan<\/a>, Prince Imre (Emeric). His father was preparing to hand over power to him as the heir, but one day during a hunting trip in Beregovschina, the young man was attacked by an angry wounded boar. Imre died, and after his death received the crown: he was given the title “ruler of the Russian lands”. Now in the forests of the Beregovsky district are found hares, squirrels, muskrats, weasels, pheasants, quails, owls.reserve<\/a> Hati taken under the protection of anthills, and in the nature reserve Attacks the turtles.<\/p>\n\n

Due to the lack of agricultural land, the huge Black Mochar swamp (14,000 hectares) was drained in 1878. Today it is almost completely drained, in its place is now a cascade of reservoirs and ponds where they breed carp, carp, and white Amur.<\/p>\n\n

It was in Beregovschina, near the village of Borzhava, that the world’s largest freshwater fish was caught: a 36-year-old three-meter catfish weighing 230 kilograms. This happened in 1970. In the same year near the village of Borzhava caught a 70-pound pike with a length of 2.5 meters.<\/p>\n\n
