The name, of course, reflected the characteristics of the plant, and the pronunciation of &#8220;gin-Jura&#8221; reminds <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/zbirannja-zillja-ta-inshi-kupalski-obrjadi-j-tradicii-na-zakarpatti\/\">magic spell<\/a>. Perhaps it was said together with prayers during the preparation of medicinal decoctions. And today the Carpathians <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/menju-gorjan-zakarpattja\/\">Highlanders<\/a> tell<a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/legenda-gori-goverla\/\">legends<\/a> and sing songs about the healing properties of the flower of polonyna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Decoctions rhizomes and roots of ginzuri were used as a remedy\r\nfor the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, chronic bronchitis, malaria, gout, rheumatism,\r\narthritis of various origin and liver diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was believed that yellow gentian also has magical properties.\r\nIts broth was used by witches to fly on a broom. According to legend they had enough\r\nanoint under the armpits with a decoction of this flower. It was also believed that gentian is yellow\r\ngives beauty and smoothes wrinkles. Today, gin Jura is very rare in the Carpathians.
