In historical documents, the healing spring “Synyavsky Klyuch” was mentioned for the first time in 1783. The village of Sinyak appeared relatively recently. The date of its foundation was 1837, during the time of Count Philipp Franz von Schönborn-Buchheim. It was placed in a picturesque corner of the Carpathians near sulfur springs.
