Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker #195

One of the largest villages in the Tyachiv district is Lower Apsha (until 2004 Dibrova). The population of the village is more than seven thousand people. The first written mention of it dates from 1380. The main local monument, the ancient wooden Nikolaev church with a bell tower from the road is not visible, it is necessary to turn left at one of the rural crossroads. The church was built in 1604 and rebuilt in the XVIII century. It stands on a high hill. This temple is a marvelous marble gothic model. In Soviet times, there was a museum of folk life in the temple, which saved him from destruction. In 1994, the temple was returned to the religious community.
