Former imperial court building #209

A must visit to the Coast program is a stroll through the old city center. On the Kossuta Square (formerly Verbevitz Square) a huge building of a former imperial court (1908) is erected among lovely two-storey villas. Ferenc Jablonsky, architect, did not restrain creative impulses: there was even a fencing room. Today, this building houses the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute.
