Description
On Koshut Square (Verbevtsia), among the pretty two-story villas, the Beregovo landmark flaunts - a huge building of the former imperial court (1908). Ferenc Yablonsky, an architect, did not restrain his creative impulses: there was even a fencing hall. Now this building houses the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rakoczi II.
An obligatory item in the program of visiting Beregovo is a walk through the old city center, many interesting architectural sights.
