The Carpathians are a colorful area. All around are green mountains and they are so majestic that looking at them, you feel very small and fragile. You can’t take your eyes off them. Mountain waterfalls and streams, crystal clear and cold. In the forest, the trees are quite often found soft green moss, which is like a velvet blanket wraps the trees and the ground. Wild berries are not uncommon here, they are very bright and useful. In summer, when traveling along mountain ranges, you can meet fungi. On the ground, among the green moss and grass, a little red riding hood, dotted with white specks-these fly agarics are like from a fairy tale. They will often meet you on the forest path. Small waterfalls meet on the way. Although they are often quite small, stopping for a minute, you will definitely inhale fresh, moist and cool air, even on the hottest day. The pure and incomparable forest fragrance, which has gathered a bouquet of smells of different age-old trees, ferns and juicy green grass, not only invigorates, but also lifts the mood. Ferns are often found in the forest – this amazing plant can be quite large. If you have a dog, this walk will be very useful for it, just do not forget to put a muzzle on it and hold it by the leash when you are in the forest. So that when you meet a gamekeeper, you don’t have to pay a fine. Walking through the Carpathians in the warm season, you can see many shades of green – from bright grass to deep green moss. You need to see it with your own eyes to make sure-the Carpathians are the land of “green gold”, luxurious high-stemmed forests, orchards and vineyards.
