May 18, 2016 in Mukachevo the third mini-sculpture was unveiled. It was dedicated to the heroine of a desperate three-year defense Mukachevsky castle Ilona Zrini and her second husband Imre Tekeli. The events dedicated to the Grand opening of this mini-masterpiece were attended by tourism expert Fyodor Sandor, Deputy Consul General Hungarians в Uzhgorod Laszlo Vida, Mukachevo mayor Andrey Baloga, as well as representatives of international delegations who came to Mukachevo to participate in the business forum.
The marriage between Ilona Zrini and Imre Tekeli was a great event for Europe in the second half of the XVII century. Instead of a prosperous life under powerHabsburg’s proud Ilona Zrini chose a thorny path of struggle for the freedom of her people.
