A very popular skiing destination in the Carpathian region is the Krutohir resort. It was opened in the 1970s and has only recently been renovated. It is located just 8 kilometres from Skhidnytsia. The local pistes are of medium difficulty and are a good option for families with children and beginners. It is a great place for skiing, snowboarding and sledging.

The Krutohir resort has three slopes of 100 (green), 200 (blue) and 400 metres (red) and a separate toboggan run.
The slopes are equipped with a drag lift and a multi-lift, and are groomed with a snow cannon and a snow groomer.
Prices at the Krutohir resort are very affordable. An hour of skiing here costs from 70 UAH.
There are equipment rental points and lessons with instructors are available.
The cost of renting a full set of equipment is only 150 UAH per day.
You can get to the Krutohir resort from Skhidnytsia by bus from Lviv, Boryslav or Truskavets. You should get off at the Krutohir bus stop, from where you will have to walk another 500 metres.
