Overview

Climbing Hoverla is one of the most popular routes in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
It should be noted that although Hoverla is the highest peak in Ukraine, the ascent to it is not particularly difficult. This is probably one of the reasons for such popularity.
It is said that every Ukrainian must subdue Hoverla, and we agree with this statement. Here at an altitude of 2061 meters above sea level, you forget about the fatigue and everyday problems that remain below, about all the incredible efforts he made to get here and you understand – “yes, it’s worth it.” And those feelings that encompass the top cannot be described or conveyed in words.

From Hoverla, dizzying panoramas of the Svydovets and Chornohirsky ridges open up – incredible landscapes of the Carpathian Mountains, stretching for many kilometers around. If you are lucky with the weather, you will be able to see the neighboring peaks of two thousand – Pip Ivan Chornohirsky, Petros. Here the clouds hang just above your head, just reach out and touch something fantastic, elusive and unearthly!
The day will start quite early, because it will be very busy and its main goal – to climb the highest peak of Ukraine – the beautiful Hoverla (2061 m). Climbing a mountain is a kind of conquest of “little Everest”, and not only because the mountain is the highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, but also because it offers a breathtaking view, tears of admiration, and the soul is filled with pride for that we have such beauty on our earth!

The program of a one-day tour with the ascent to Hoverla:

  • Departure from Uzhgorod at 02:00; Mukachevo – 02:45; Khust – 04:00.
  • We offer a comfortable option: on off-road transport we will be taken to the bridge, and there “hand in hand” to Hoverla.
  • The ascent to Hoverla takes about 3 hours. The descent will take a little less time. To raise the power of even unprepared people, children, adolescents and the elderly.
  • Photos on top of Hoverla are a must!
  • On the way back we will visit a choice: the legendary restaurant “Gagarin and Bokorash”, gastro pub “Tsypa” or a hut-museum, and of course, the geographical center of Europe.
  • We will return home full of positive and vivid impressions, charged with the energy of the mountains and a little tired.

You will always remember the moment of climbing the top of Hoverla. When you stand on it – silent and proud, when the pulse calms down, the trembling in your legs subsides, when you take a breath and look around… It is for the sake of this majesty, beauty, admiration, the wave of inner personal emotions that covers your head, people go to the mountains.
