The City Pond is a great place, first of all, for family rest. The area around the lake is equipped with playgrounds, a barbecue area, gazebos, tiled walking paths and bicycle paths, convenient parking, and a sandy beach with a fenced-off area for children. There are pleasure boats moored to the lake’s shore, which are popular with tourists. The beach is safe for holidaymakers – there is a lifeguard on duty. The only drawback of the beach is the almost complete lack of shade. There is only one tree, which is always crowded with holidaymakers. It’s better with shade on the opposite side of the lake, but the lifeguard on the boat constantly urges people to swim only near the equipped beach.
The water in the lake is relatively clean and quite cool even on the hottest days.
In addition to families, this lake is a popular choice for corporate events.
