Beregovo is one of the largest tourist centres in Transcarpathia. It is home to unique healing thermal waters, a large number of historical and architectural monuments, cosy cafes and restaurants where you can taste original Hungarian cuisine and unique local wines.

The population of Khust district is almost 96,000 people. The border with Romania passes through the territory. There are 57 settlements in Khust district. The area of the district is 975 square kilometers, 40 percent of which is covered by forests.
