A small cozy European town – Uzhgorod, beautiful in all seasons. But in the spring it is completely transformed and becomes even more charming, even more beautiful, even more unique: hundreds of sakura trees bloom with pink and white flowers, which makes it seem as if the streets and alleys of the city are shrouded in pink clouds.

And the beauty of magnolia blooms can not be described in words – you just have to see it with your own eyes!

We invite you to look at this beautiful wonder of nature and experience the incredible sensations of bathing in tubs with hydrogen sulfide water! For completeness of impressions we offer tasting of delicious dishes of Transcarpathian cuisine.

TOUR SCHEDULE:

DAY 1

  • Arrival of tourists in Uzhhorod .
  • 10:15 – Meeting with the guide at the train station. Going on a tour.
  • Bus tour “Uzhgorod and surroundings”.
  • Excursion walk around the city, smoothly immersed in the pink clouds of sakura petals!
  • Get to know the cute bronze mini-sculptures of the city .

  • The village of Nevytske is the ruins of the Castle of the Bad Maiden, first mentioned in the early 14th century as a stronghold of local feudal lords against the royal rule of Charles Robert of Anjou.
  • Next, our path lies in the ancient mountain village of Lumshory. The village is known for its healing hydrogen sulfide mineral springs, its recreational features since the XVII century. Clamped by snow-capped mountain slopes and steep waterfalls, Lumshory seems to protect itself from the outside world. Around – only the mountains and the sky. The mountain Turychka flows in a secluded village.
  • In Lumshory – a short walk to the beautiful small waterfalls: « Nightingale “,” Burkachi “,” Perestupen “and” Krutylo “.

Nevytske

The village of Nevytske is notable for the fact that Nevytsky Castle is located in it. Before him there was an ancient citadel, destroyed during the Tatar-Mongol invasion. The new fortress was built in the 13th century. on top of a hill overlooking the valley of the river Uzh. In 1644 the castle was captured and wiped off the face of the earth by the Transylvanian voivode György Rakoczi. Now the ruins of the building are preserved by historians and are available for inspection.

Lumshori

Transcarpathia has always been famous for its healing mineral springs. From time immemorial, it was enough to find a convenient place in a mountain hollow or pit, smear it with clay and heat the water with hot stone. Thus arose the first spa resorts. And the village of Lumshory in the Perechyn region became their central point. Locals pour mineral-enriched liquid into cast iron vats. The oldest of the tanks used today dates back to 1600. Such bathing, especially contrasting, has a unique health effect for the functioning of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

Uzhhorod

After the trip it is best to inhale the aroma of linden and sakura, relax on the embankment of Uzhgorod, walk towards the forest of UzhNU.
