Getting to know Truskavets should start with a visit to its museums. Museums are the treasure troves where the most valuable artefacts of past generations and the memory of ancestors’ lives are kept. Truskavets has two excellent collections of antiquities for tourists to enjoy: “The Museum of the Truskavets Resort City, or as it is also known, the Museum of Truskavets History, and the Museum of the National Painter of Ukraine Mykhailo Bilas. Working hours: the museum of the resort town of Truskavets is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Ticket price: 40 UAH for adults, 30 UAH for students and 20 UAH for school children. The cost of the tour is 100 UAH. Entrance to the Rebel Hiding Place exhibition is paid separately and costs 20 UAH for adults, 15 UAH for students and 10 UAH for children. The price of the tour is 50 UAH. Schoolchildren of the Truskavets community centre, pensioners, and people with disabilities of the third group receive a 50% discount. In addition, the museum offers a walking tour of the city for 500 UAH or more. The museum also offers other paid services, including a wedding ceremony called “Marriage in a Day”, which costs 500 UAH.
