Ivan Shchur is a legendary figure in the history of hiking tourism in Transcarpathia. He is also called Yanko Derevlyany, because he makes sculptures from wood. Ironically, he became the prototype for the new mini-sculpture.

The village of Yasinya (Yasine in Hutsul dialect) is located in Rakhiv district of Transcarpathian region. It was founded in 1555. The population is almost 9 thousand people. The height of Yasinya is over 600 metres above sea level. Many people rent housing here because of its proximity to the Dragobrat resort.

On September 9, 2019, on the occasion of the anniversary of the opening of the Torigvel Center “Dastor”, the 42nd mini-sculpture dedicated to Transcarpathian kiflyk was opened in Uzhgorod. This bronze mini-masterpiece was installed in the parking lot opposite the shopping center on Sobranetskaya Street.

In the center of the village of Repynne, to the left of the road, you can see the silhouette of the wooden three-log Dmitriivska church. It was built in 1780 from spruce beams in the Maramoros Gothic style. Works of artistic carving of the 18th century have been preserved in this temple.
