The Lisnovy route is a great way to get an incredible boost of positive energy and adrenaline while on holiday in the Carpathians.
Our first stop on the route will be the majestic Chornyi Pohar peak, 1300 metres high. The incredible landscapes of the surrounding Carpathians make this place a great photo location. A kind of spiritual highlight of this peak is a miniature Hutsul chapel.
Then our path will pass through a picturesque polonyna and lead to a wonderful local cheese factory.
Here, we will be able to taste and buy delicious Hutsul sheep cheese.
After enjoying the taste of healing Hutsul sheep cheese, we will go off-road to the majestic Mount Lisniv, 1257 metres high. This place is a great observation deck to admire the highest peaks of the Ukrainian Carpathians. In good weather, you can even see the highest peak of Ukraine, Mount Hoverla, from here. In addition, Mount Lisniv has a wonderful source of crystal clear drinking water.
Mount Lisniv is a convenient place for tourists to rest after long journeys. For this purpose, there is a kolyba with the possibility to spend the night or wait out the bad weather.
At the end of this route, we will visit the magnificent Polonyna Steryshora. After the extreme tour, you can satisfy your hunger with delicious dishes from the local kolyba. In addition, there is a wonderful cheese dairy with the option of free local cheese tasting, a large Carpathian swing 9 metres high, a rope park, a trampoline and an exciting zipline.
