Helper of St. Nicholas is the first mini-sculpture of Uzhgorod. Its author is Mykhailo Kolodko. It is located on the railings on Teatralnaya Square (GPS: 48.622069, 22.298199). Almost immediately, residents of Uzhgorod began to affectionately call her Mykolaychyk.

The current church of St. Basil in the village of Zadilske, Mukachevo district, Zakarpattia region, was most likely built by the same craftsmen who built the church in the neighbouring village of Yalove. This is the second church building in the village. The first was the Church of St Nicholas, built by priest Fedir Zadilskyi.

For the first time, the village of Tyshiv of the Mukachevo district of the Transcarpathian region was mentioned in historical documents in 1648. It was a very small village that did not have its own church until the end of the 19th century, whose inhabitants went to pray in the neighboring village of Nizhny Veretsky (Lower Gate). It is believed that the current Church of the Ascension was built at the end of the 19th century on the site of an older one, of which no evidence has survived.

Schweik is a world-famous character created by Czech writer Jaroslav Hasek. His work The Adventures of the Brave Soldier Schweik remains one of the most popular anti-war novels written after the First World War. The sculpture was erected on 10 July 2012 to mark the anniversary of Ukrainian-Czech friendship and as a monument to the post-war city.
