Church of St. Nicholas
Historical documents show that the first settlers appeared in the area of the current village of Rekity in the 16th century. A hundred years later, in the 17th century, when the village had already grown, a beautiful wooden church was built on the mountainside from spruce beams, named after St. Nicholas.
Mini-sculpture United Ukraine
This patriotic mini-sculpture was installed on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. The author of the sculpture Mykhailo Kolodko compares the country to a bar of chocolate. Everyone loves chocolate, that’s why they want to eat it, “biting off” a good piece.
Mini-sculpture of the Liberty Bell
This 29th mini-sculpture was opened in Uzhgorod on December 2, 2017. It was placed in front of the entrance to the building of the former district administration, where the Art Museum named after Bokshaya Grigory Zhatkovich was cast in bronze.
St. Dmytriy church
In the villages of the Mukachevo district, as well as in other plain villages of the region, almost no wooden church monuments have survived. Only in the village of Vilkhovitsa, not far from the village of Chinadiyeva, the wooden church of St. Dmytro, built in the 17th century, has been preserved.
