Transcarpathia
There are 456 nature reserves in the Zakarpattia region, which cover an area of 177 thousand hectares. Tourists from all over the world come to the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve, Uzhansky National Nature Park, Synevyr and Zacharovany Krai National Nature Parks, Prytysyansky and Sinyak Regional Landscape Parks. The region also has 60 nature reserves, 340 natural monuments, 9 protected tracts, 32 monuments of landscape art and 4 arboretums.
Lavender mountain
Since 2020, Lavender Mountain (Perechyn) has been opened in Zakarpattia for all those who want to see this natural wonder.
The owners of the site hesitated for a long time about choosing a type of plant, so they studied the experience of such floriculture from specialists from Bulgaria, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia for a long time. Now there are seven hectares of unique beauty spread here, which is created by narrow-leaved lavender with the addition of a hectare of Daman rose.
Valley of daffodils
Near the village of Kireshi (5 km north of Khust) is the most popular tourist attraction in Khust district – the Daffodil Valley. This is the only place in Ukraine where the narrow-leaved daffodil grows in its natural habitat.
Turya Polyana
Turya Polyana village is located in Uzhgorod district of Transcarpathian region in a picturesque corner of the Carpathians. The picturesque mountain rivers Shypot and Zvur (Zvor), which is a tributary of the Turya River, merge here.
