Serednye
An urban-type settlement called Serednye is located on the river Velya, which flows into Latoritsa. Currently, more than 6 thousand people live on this area, which covers more than 400 hectares. Most of them are Ukrainians, a quarter of the population is represented by Slovaks, there are also Hungarians and Roma.
Nevytske
The village of Nevytske in Uzhgorod district, Transcarpathian region, has long been a favourite summer beach holiday destination for Uzhhorod residents. Thanks to a dam built in 1934, the Uzh River is full and comfortable for swimming, and the river banks are a great place for sunbathing and picnics. In addition to beach holidays, tourists from all over the world are attracted to the ruins of the legendary Nevytsky Castle.
Derenivska Kupil
16 km from Uzhgorod is the cozy village of Nizhne Solotvyno. Most of all, the village is famous for its healing thermal waters. Now in the village there are sanatorium-resort complexes “Thermal Star” and the famous “Derenivskaya Kupel”.
