Voyevodyn Waterfall is a wonderful work of nature. His melodic speech and the gentle sounds of the flowing stream make people relax, while their gaze continues to follow this enchanting picture. The human consciousness becomes harmonious, and peace reigns in the heart. Every moment, spent near the wonderful wonder of nature, makes you forget about the fleeting and join the eternal.

Transcarpathian waterfalls are distinguished by a rare beauty that makes people hold their breath watching the play of water. But not all sources are in sight, some still need to be found. Therefore, the road to them is not always easy, but when travelers pass it, they will realize that the goal was worth the effort. Strength and energy are quickly restored after tourists have enough rest near the waterfall.

Strong in spirit people, full of vigor and desire to join the mysteries of nature of the Carpathian Mountains, awaits a magical revelation, which gives life only to those who are not afraid of temporary difficulties. The hike is designed just for them!

Tour programme

Excursion program:

– Departure from Uzhgorod (9:00 a.m.).
– Transfer to the village of Turya Polyana.
– Overview of a hydroelectric power plant built on a mountain river.
– About 8 km of beautiful path during a hike to the Voyevodyn waterfall, which runs along the rocky shores of the mountain stream.
– Stop at the overflowing jets of the fountain. Here fatigue leaves travelers, and the speech which has absorbed all force of mountains of water will force to forget about any experiences and anxieties.
– Lunch, rest, photo shoot.
– On the way back to the next waterfall you can see a roe deer or deer.
– Such a walk will be appreciated by nature lovers. It will allow them to enjoy the fresh air, reveal the secrets of the stunning views hidden from view and allow you to look into the thickets of the wild forest, where there are no crowds of tourists. The gaze will catch the broken snags and twigs, interspersed with ancient stones, through which the water stream makes its way. Excursion to Voyevodyno is not difficult for those who like to communicate with nature, so even not very experienced people will have fun. A traveler of any age, including children, will overcome it without effort. The road is extremely beautiful, and near Voyevodyn there are many places, as if created for a snack in the fresh air.

Hike to the Voyevodyn waterfall takes place every second Saturday.

You must have:

• shoes suitable for long hikes (it is best to stock up on shoes, sneakers or trekking sandals);
• hats;
• raincoat;
• snack sandwiches by the waterfall;
• drinks or containers for them, because along the way you can collect water from the cleanest sources;
• good mood and camera.
