Dymovskoelake – this is the remainder of the Black Mochar swamp, on the site of a former sand quarry. The name comes from the village of Diyda (former name-Dedovo), which is located a few kilometers to the West ofCoastal.Old-timers claim that inlakethere is a huge black snake with a long neck and a thick body. Based on this description, we can make the assumption that the diedivske monster is a relative of the world-famous monster from the Scottish Loch ness. According to local residents earlier during night bathing on thelake people often disappeared without a trace, and these victims were attributed to the mysterious serpent. However, no such cases have been recorded in recent years.
In the summerозеро Dyda is a favorite holiday destination for Transcarpathians and guests of the region. There is a sailing center on the lake, a cafe and a medical center.
Another legend about the lake reaches the time when inKarpati the Tatar-Mongol Horde moved, leaving behind death and ruins. Then the local master Barkach ordered to build a Black Mochar of cities across the swamp. Over this bridge people carried stones and earth, filled up a hill and built a fortress. This castle became a salvation for local residents from the Horde navala. The Tatar-Mongols tried to get it for a long time, but after a long bloody battle, the snakes were forced to leave these lands.
However, soon the fortress was captured by a band of robbers (“twenty-four robbers”), and the robbers killed the brave Barkach. The leader of the robbers Borat fell in love with the daughter of a gentleman from the neighboring village of Krivoy. Parent lovelies, of course, I refused give your child away for a Highwayman. Then Borat got angry and made a bloody attack on the village of Krivoe at the very moment when the girl was marrying a local knight. Borat did not spare anyone, all the participants of the wedding ceremony were killed, including the young ones themselves. All the peasants were killed and their houses burned. Since then, only the Crooked tract remembers that once there was a village in these places. Then the people ran out of patience, they gathered and destroyed the lair of robbers. Since then, the settlement above lake Diyda has been empty.
