The village of Verkhniy Studenyi Khust district, Transcarpathian region, is located in the middle of the picturesque mountain ranges of the Skole Beskids. That is why this famous ski resort is often called “Beskyd”.

The slopes are quite gentle and safe for skiing. Verkhniy Studenyi has 4 trails ranging in length from 400 to 1200 metres. The height difference on them is 160-200 m. There are 2 rope tows and one cable car on the slopes.
Verkhniy Studenyi also offers night skiing, but such services are available only on the 400-metre-long track of the Adrenaline sports complex, and children can ride a special training hill on the territory of this complex.
This resort impresses with its moderate prices for a fairly high quality service. Stable snow cover suitable for skiing in Verkhniy Studenyi lasts mostly from December to mid-March.
To get to Verkhniy Studenyi, you should first take a train to Volovets station and then take minibuses that run to this popular ski resort quite regularly. You can also drive to the Beskyd station, where the ski lifts are only 3 kilometres away. Alternatively, you can reach the resort by car by driving from the village of Nyzhni Vorota towards Mizhhirya until you reach the turn-off to Verkhniy Studenyi. Travellers with their own vehicles should note that the nearest petrol station is located in Volovets, 30 kilometres from Verkhniy Studenyi.
