The Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Nyzhniy Studenyi
The village of Nyzhniy Studenyi Khust district, Transcarpathian region, was first mentioned in documents in the XVI century. But it was only in the spring of 1820 that a church was built in the village (although a plaque with the number 1841 was pierced on one of the walls of the church, but no one can say for sure what this number means).
According to the Bible, it was in the spring of 7 April that the archangel Gabriel brought the good news that the Virgin Mary would give birth to the son of God. That is why the church in the village of Nyzhniy Studenyi was named the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A detailed description of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Nyzhniy Studenyi
The church is a three-storey log structure made of spruce beams, with corner joints made with paw joints. The square log of the nave is wider than the log of the narthex and the altar part of the building. A two-tiered gallery is arranged above the Babinets, the arcade of the second tier of which surrounds the Babinets tier. The nave and Babinets have a common roof, which is adjoined by the lower roof of the eastern log house. The Babinets culminates in a low massive square tower without arches or windows with a low, wide octagonal Baroque ending, above which rises an elongated dome with a high cross. Above the nave and the eastern volume on the roof crests in the eastern part are elongated cupolas with crosses. Around the perimeter of the church there is a porch, which stands on the crowns of the log house. The interior of the church has preserved decorative carvings of the 18th century. There are choirs near the western wall of the nave.
Next to the church is a square two-tiered bell tower with an octagonal hipped roof. Around the perimeter of the lower tier there is a porch, and under the hipped roof of the upper tier there is a series of small arches.
