The Roman Catholic community in Kosiv revived during the time of independent Ukraine. Initially, Roman Catholics used a cemetery chapel for their needs. Later, in 2004-2008, a new church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary was built and consecrated next to the Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. This miniature church houses the relics of St John Paul II and Blessed Marta Wietska, as well as the relics of Blessed Jacob Strepa.
Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Kosiv is a functioning church where services are regularly held. Entrance to the shrine is free.
