At the entrance to the village of Novoselytsia of the Berehiv district, visitors are greeted by the sign “Novoselytsia welcomes you” with the silhouette of the local Dormition Church of 1669 . And a few meters away on the horizon you can see the miniature slender Gothic wooden temple with a high spire. It is for the sake of this elegant beauty, built without a single nail, that it is worth visiting the village. The doors of the temple are very low: you will not want to bow, but you will have to. It is worth going inside for the 17th century paintings, made by masters of the Galician school. Various gilded iconostasis of the 17th century has also been preserved.
