Detailed description of the Hutsul eco-farm (cheese dairy) in Yavoriv village
The farm offers interesting tours of the territory and demonstration halls, where you can get acquainted with the magical process of cheese making by looking at the pasture, winter quarters, cheese boilers, automatic milking systems and other interesting things. All of this is accompanied by fascinating stories and masterclasses by the founder of this eco-farm, Mr Nazar.
Hundreds of goats from the eco-farm supply milk to the cheese factory. Most of them are representatives of foreign breeds. The animals are very friendly and easy to pet.
The Hutsul cheese dairy in the village of Yavoriv is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay of tourists. Visitors can sit in the kolyba, visit the tasting room and shop in the local store, which sells cheeses, honey, sour cream, blueberry jam, seeds, banosh, Carpathian teas, etc.
At the Hutsul Cheese Factory, you can taste and buy as many as 13 different types of cheese:
- Parmesan;
- Gouda;
- Halumi;
- Suluguni;
- Brynza;
- Ricotta;
- Cacciotta and others.
