Detailed description of the Museum of Sacred Art in Kosiv
The exposition of the museum of sacred art is filled with ancient Hutsul wooden crosses, carved icons, decorative plates, ancient carved chests, jugs and jars, stove tiles, a collection of axes and other valuable exhibits of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The master’s collection includes both numerous antiquities collected by him and wooden sacred objects restored by his own hands.
An interesting feature of the Museum of Sacred Art is a green “living” gazebo made of hornbeam. Here, tourists have the opportunity to taste various types of homemade wine made by the museum’s owner Taras Strydaniuk.
In addition, you can buy the master’s original products in the museum. They are expensive, but undoubtedly worth the price.
