The grandeur of the Yablunytskyi Pass is impressive. It is one of the most picturesque in Ukraine. It is located near the village of Yablunytsia, which belongs to the Nadvirna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. It connects the Prut and Black Tisza river basins. The pass has an impressive height of 931 metres. Yablunytskyi Pass creates a natural border between the Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. At all times of the year, the pass is full of tourists, souvenir shops, and many places to stop for a rest and a snack. The famous Berkut boarding house with a restaurant is located here. There is also a special area for photographing on the territory of the pass.
