Park-museum “Carpathians in Miniature”
This unique museum attracts tourists like a magnet. The initiators of its creation in 2015 were the Carpathian National Park and the NGO Centre for Social and Business Initiatives. It is located on the territory of the Carpathian National Park in the city of Yaremche in the middle of the Zhonka River tract. The museum’s exhibits are 25 times smaller copies of famous tourist attractions Ukrainian Carpathians. In addition, some of the miniatures were recreated from old drawings and photographs using computer modelling and 3D printers, which were used to produce the structural elements of the miniature models, as well as various decorative elements. This is how the miniatures were made observatory on Mount Pip Ivan and sculptures of Queen Jadwiga from the village of Mykulychyn.
In addition to them, the museum has miniature copies of Hutsulshchyna restaurant (Yaremche), a bridge over the Probiy waterfall (Yaremche), the Monastery of the Holy Prophet Elijah (Yaremche), the monument to the fallen in World War II (Yaremche), the operating railway in miniature: stone bridges-viaducts in Vorokhta, the railway station in Tatariv and mountain railway tunnels, the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (village Vorokhta), sculptures of the Virgin Mary on Mount Khomyak, reproductions of the slopes Chornohora ridge and others.
