The village of Koson is located in the Berehiv district of the Zakarpattia region at an altitude of more than 100 meters above sea level. The population of the village is more than 2 thousand people. In order to get from Mukachevo to the village of Koson, it will take about an hour’s drive. The settlement is better known to tourists under the name Kosino.
The first mentions of Koson date back to 1333, the town did not stand out among others in the Transcarpathian region. Only at the end of the 20th century, scientists searching for oil discovered thermal waters.
