The village of Yablunytsia is located in the Nadvirnyan district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region at an altitude of more than 900 meters above sea level. The population of the village is almost 2 thousand people. The first written mention is dated 1648. In those days the village was called Sloboda. The modern name arose from the nearby Yablunytsia mountain (1008 m). The ancient village of Yablunytsia attracts tourists all year round. In winter, ski slopes operate here, and the famous Bukovel resort is nearby. The main attraction is Carpathian National Natural Park. Its area is more than 50,000 hectares. Here you can admire the unique nature and architectural monuments, modern recreational complexes and archaeological artifacts, some of them 15,000 years old.
