The “Golubyne” ski complex is located in the valley of the Pinya River, 4 km north of Svalyava. It is surrounded by mountains and is located at an altitude of 280 m above sea level.
Golubyne offers simply great skiing. The first mentions of it date back to the first third of the 15th century, and nowadays numerous skiers and snowboarders flock here in winter.
The ski season at the resort lasts from the beginning of December until spring itself. The tracks correspond to the average level of difficulty, so even experienced skiers will be interested in sliding down them. The map of descents is of undeniable interest, and therefore everyone will find something interesting here.

Near Golubyn near the village of Solochyn there is a famous sanatorium – “Kvitka Polonyny“. It has 2 blue tracks of medium difficulty. Their lower line is at an altitude of more than 200 m, and the upper one is almost 400 m above sea level. The length of the slopes is 1600 m.
The slopes here require increased attention, as they are quite hilly and in some places overgrown with young grass. But the tracks are quite smooth, long (up to 1 km) and wide (50 m). For beginners, they will be a great start for mastering serious skiing skills.
For the convenience of tourists, there is also a ski lift (2 pieces – 300 and 600 m).

The “Kvitka Polonyny” resort in Transcarpathia is only 8 km from Svalyava, so it is best to get here by taxi. Trains go to the local station from Kyiv, Lviv and Kharkiv.
By car, you need to drive along the Kyiv-Chop road to Svalyava, and turn towards Solochyn after Golubyny.
