The village of Yanoshi, located near the settlements Kosino and Berehove, was founded in 1321. Its area is small – 3.8 square kilometers, the population – a little more than 2,000 people. From 1321 to 1364, the village was called Ivanoshi, and in 1364 it became Yanoshi. In 1946, the village was renamed again, this time to Ivanivka, in 1995 it returned to its historical name of Yanoshi.
Transcarpathia is famous for thermal resorts. The village of Yanoshi is located next to them, so tourists often stay there. Thermal waters are recommended to be visited in the presence of various diseases, including hypertension and problems with the musculoskeletal system.
