The picturesque village of Osiy, Khust district, Transcarpathian region, is a popular ski resort (GPS: 48.38049 23.12375). Here, in the Kamyanka tract, there are two tracks of medium and low difficulty, suitable for skiing beginners.
Many skiers from Mukachevo come here on weekends. The distance from Mukachevo to the village of Osiy is only 50 km.

The tracks are 600 and 800 metres long and have a height difference of 50-70 metres. The shorter run on the right is gentler and more even. It will be a good option for teaching beginners who want to learn to ski or snowboard from scratch. The longer slope is steeper and more extreme, designed for more experienced skiers and snowboarders.
The slopes are equipped with a 450-metre-long drag lift and a snowmobile. The lift capacity is 720 people per hour. The slopes are illuminated at night.
To get to the local ski slopes from Svalyava, you should take a minibus or bus, and then a taxi to the village of Osiy. You can also get here by car, following the Kyiv-Chop highway. In this case, after Mukachevo, you should turn to Irshava, and then move in the direction of the reserve “Zacharovanyi Krai” and from there go to the village of Osiy.
