Manyava Monastery (Ukrainian Athos, Khresto-Vozdvizhenskyi Men’s Monastery) is an Orthodox monastery founded in 1606 near the village of Manyava (Ivano-Frankivsk district, Ivano- Frankiv region), an architectural monument of the beginning of the 17th century. Its origins date back to 1240, when the monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra destroyed by the Tatar-Mongols, Ionikiy and Pachomius, taking holy water with them, went to look for a source equal in healing power and found it near the current monastery on the Blessed Stone, next to which they settled.
