Kobylets’ka Glade – the settlement of urban type Rakhovsky district Transcarpathian region, which is located at the foot of mount Kobyly (1680 m) (48 4′ 56′′ N, 24 4′ 29′′ E).
The first written mention of kobyletskaya Polyana dates back to the XV century. At the end of the XVIII century kobyletskaya Polyana became the center metallurgical production. In the first half of the XIX century, sulfur deposits were discovered in the village mineral spring on the basis of which medical fonts were opened. Since then, for almost 200 years, kobyletskaya Polyana has attracted tourists and vacationers from all over the world.
Especially like to relax here lovers of mountain skiing. In Kobyletskaya Polyana there are two ski slopes with a width of 100 meters, a length of 500 and 800 meters, and a height difference of 50 and 80 meters, respectively. They are located on the territory of the resort “Trembita“. Here you will find everything you need for ski resort infrastructure. There are two tow lifts. At a distance of 3 kilometers from the “trembita” HOTEL on the pass is located at an altitude of 850 meters, the tourist shelter “Pereval”, where ski trips are organized. The ski slopes in Kobyletskaya Polyana are very convenient for beginners and Amateurs.
It is better to get to Kobyletskaya Polyana by bus from Rakhiv’s. The nearest railway stations are in Veliky Bychkov and Bohdan. From the regional center of the city Uzhgorod’s to Kobiletskaya Polyana 186 kilometers, and from the district center of the city Rakhiv’s– 40 km.
