A tour of the Baranovo Cheese Factory is an exciting gastronomic adventure that will leave a pleasant aftertaste and a good memory.
The rich programme will captivate you with stories about the history of the region and introduce you to the world of cheese making. You will find yourself in the heart of Baranovo Farm – at the cheese factory, where you can not only hear but also see with your own eyes the entire mechanism and stages of cheese production. You will also visit a sheep farm, which is always interesting and atmospheric.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with ancient exhibits. The tasting room contains items that were used for cheese production in ancient times. You will be able to take atmospheric photos and feel the origins of the cheese industry.
The tasting includes 8 types of cheese (depending on the season from May to September), a drink of your choice (wine, yoghurt, kefir)
A list of additional tourist services is also available by appointment (minimum group size is 15 people, maximum – 50 people).
