Buffalo eco-farm “Raiskyi kutochok”
In the village of Gorinchovo is a unique buffalo eco-farm and tourist complex “Raiskyi kutochok” – a place where you can feel nature with your soul. Here you will see buffaloes, deer, African ostriches, peacocks, ornamental ducks, domestic chickens, pheasants, partridges, horses, pigs and roes. Each of them has its own territory and its own accommodation. An experienced guide shows you around the farm.
The farm is also famous for producing its own environmentally friendly cheeses – vurda, bryndza, kefir, sour cream from buffalo milk, which are used to make tasting plates. Buffaloes have very healthy milk because they are walked outdoors every day and eat nutritious grass.
The farm has a cosy restaurant and a tasting terrace (designed for up to 100 people at a time), where you can enjoy delicious home-cooked Transcarpathian cuisine and taste dairy products of its own production. You can also taste a number of fruit tinctures – Kalganovka, apricot, cherry, nettle, and then enjoy authentic Transcarpathian dishes. That’s why there are always a lot of visitors here. Especially on holidays. The hospitable hosts are always happy to welcome guests.
There are also lounges and a playground on the farm. You can also ride horses in the vast territory.
