Mini-zoo “Aviary Farm of the Carpathian National Nature Park”
If you come to Yaremche If you are travelling with children, you should definitely visit the local mini-zoo. It was established in 1992 with the aim of preserving the population and promoting the reproduction of wild animals Carpathian National Nature Park. It is located in the middle of the picturesque nature in the city of Yaremche on an area of 5.3 hectares. This place is a much better option for fauna than classic zoos. This was achieved by creating the most natural conditions for animals. For this purpose, extremely spacious enclosures have been arranged here and large areas of the picturesque natural area have been fenced with metal mesh Carpathians.
The local mini-zoo allows you not only to watch animals and birds, but also to feed them.
It brings great joy and comfort to both children and adults. But before feeding any animal, in order not to harm the zoo’s inhabitants, you should carefully read the texts posted on the information stands. To observe the zoo’s inhabitants, there are special observation towers on its territory. From them, you can watch the animals even if they are far from the fence.
The Yaremche Zoo has a modern, well-developed infrastructure. There is a convenient car park, a cosy cafe and souvenir shops for visitors.
