The Ivan Olbracht Ethnographic Center is a museum of Kolochav, founded in 1981. It is located in the central part of the village. Named after a famous Czech writer who lived here in the 1930s. His real name is Kamil Zeman.
It was in Transcarpathia that he was so absorbed by the beauty of the region and gained valuable experience, thanks to which he wrote several iconic books in which he skillfully described the beauty of the area and nature. With this, he was able to attract the attention of not only Ukrainians, but also the whole world to Kolochava and Subcarpathian Rus. The book “Mykola Shugai the Robber” became a real bestseller, which was classified as a classic of Czech literature.
