Kvass Castle #78

In the village of Kvasovo, Berehiv district, the ruins of a 12th-century feudal castle built in Romanesque style are preserved. Kvasovo is known since the XII century, the population of the village is about 900 people. There are regular minibuses from Beregovo to Kvasov. You can also get here on the Irshava highway. In the center of the village, behind the two-story school building, you can see the 800-year-old remains of the fortress. Today, one of the oldest Ukrainian castles has survived in the form of wall fragments located on a hill fifteen meters above the Borzhava River.
