The palace-residence of the Pereni barons was built at the end of the 16th century. The one-story building was built in the Renaissance style and corresponded to the spirit of that time. From here it was convenient to manage large land holdings, to hold special evenings and sumptuous receptions here, and in case of danger, one could always hide in the nearby Kankov Castle. In the 17th century, the palace was rebuilt in the Baroque style. The area of the palace was increased thanks to the completion of the second floor. Today, the district education department is located in the building.
