The Museum of Lekvar with a tasting room is located in the village of Botar, Beregovo district. This is one of the little-known but very interesting locations Transcarpathia. The Lekvar museum was created on the initiative of Pavlo Tyzesh, the owner of the Tyzesh farm, which is well known in Ukraine as a producer of organic food under the Pan Eco brand. The opening of the unique museum took place on 17 April 2012 with the participation of high-ranking officials of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, Vynohradiv District State Administration, honoured guests from abroad and the large community of Botar village. The interior of the museum was designed by local sculptor Mykhailo Kolodka. The artist also created a monument to a mangalitsa pig to the left of the museum entrance, and a monument to a lekvar to the right of the same entrance. In particular, a thematic painting with Transcarpathian lekvar is of particular interest.
