On August 25, 2019, in Uzhgorod, a mini-sculpture of the Hungarian poet István Dendeşi was unveiled. This event was timed to the poet’s birthday, which took place 390 years ago in Uzhgorod. They designed it in the shape of a pearl. That is why the authors gave it the name “Istvan Dendeshi – the pearl of Uzhgorod.” This mini-masterpiece was placed near the house at the address: Uzhgorod, Dendeshi Street, 8. This building in the Radvanka neighborhood is the oldest residential building in the city. In addition, Istvan Dendeši was born in 1629 in this 16th-century building. The authors of this mini-sculpture were Roman Murnyk and Stepan Rusnak.
